UPDATE 2-Intel launches high-end server chip for the cloud

SAN FRANCISCO, March 6 (Reuters) - Intel Corp
took the wraps off its newest "Xeon" server chip on Tuesday,
seeking to capitalize on an explosion of Internet traffic
sparked by Web-based cloud computing, social networking and
growing smartphone and tablet computer use.
