Vertex, Merck hepatitis drugs work in HIV patients

SEATTLE (Reuters) - Rival hepatitis C drugs from Merck & Co and Vertex Pharmaceuticals are effective in patients also infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, according to data released on Tuesday.
